Tracy Schott is a producer/director/writer with more than 20 years of experience creating films, content for television, events, and the web. Tracy is the Director and owner of Schott Productions. She has created hundreds of projects including the films DUST NUGGETS (2019), TRAFFIC OPERA (2017), A PERFECT YOU (2016), and LOCATION! LOCATION! (2010). Tracy also directed the Emmy-nominated reality TV show DREAM WEDDINGS (2011-2014), and the TV pilot FRANKLIN STREET STATION (2018). She is currently in development of the dramedy, LE BON CHEF, whose award-winning script she co-wrote with Sue Lange. Tracy is also in development on the history/documentary film FROM THE RIVER. With Master’s degrees in both Telecommunications and Social Work, Tracy naturally gravitates to projects that inspire community change. She is the Producer/Director of the award-winning documentary film FINDING JENN’S VOICE (2015) which examines intimate partner homicide during pregnancy. Tracy has successfully self-distributed this film for public performance and educational audiences and is a sought-after speaker on the topic of intimate partner violence and the media. Tracy created Voices4Change to stream the film, engage domestic violence survivors and professionals in meaningful discussion, and to provide online training tools. Tracy spent the much of the pandemic lockdown creating webinars and podcasts geared toward prevention of intimate partner homicide. Her tenacity and commitment to this project has not only changed the lives of the thousands who have viewed the film but has also put her on the unlikely path to profit!
